Urgent appeal: 300 families in Pakistan need help!

We just received an update from our team on the ground in Pakistan. We have registered 300 more families who urgently need food, water and medical care. The Government or other humanitarian aid organizations have not reached these people. Help us to reach out to more families that are in dire need of food, water and medical care.

The floods have destroyed crops, farms and houses. Many people still live in tents and do not have any possessions. There is no food for them and it is not provided by the government.

CBN International is stepping in to reach out to flood victims in Pakistan – because we must. We cannot leave them suffer while we have a team on the ground, seeking out the need and providing help. The 700 Club Prayer Centre receives many calls on a daily basis from people who need God to show up in their life. And He so much wants to! We are here to stand and agree with you in prayer, declaring God’s unfailing truth over your circumstances.

The Name of Jesus carries the hightest authority, given by the the Almighty God to do His work. By praying in the Name of Jesus, there is healing, restoration, provision and breaking down strongholds over your life.

Helping flood victims in Pakistan

CBN is working alongside several local ministry partners to bringing relief to families in the Sindh province of Pakistan devastated by recent floods. Many villages have been under 4-5 feet of water for weeks with families camping on nearby roads to escape their submerged homes. Many remain completely unreached by any form of humanitarian aid (government or NGO). This week emergency food supplies from CBN capable of sustaining a family for 15-20 days will reach 200 families in and around Badin (all farming communities). A total of 500 families will receive assistance as relief efforts are set to continue as the team travels farther south through the flood zone. Children in the villages are also receiving some special care packages to lift their spirits with chocolates, jelly candies, crayons and coloring books.

Six months after the worst floods in the history of Pakistan, millions are still in dire need of assistance. Many people still live in tents and have few possessions. The damage caused by the floods could be far worse than the destruction caused by the 2005 earthquake.

As terrible floods and ongoing heavy rains continue to plague Pakistan, CBN International is working with its longtime Christian partner ministry, JCTV, to mobilize emergency medical relief for the many families displaced by the rising waters.

Together with our partner ministry JCTV (Jesus Christ Television), CBN International is reaching out to flood victims by registering families for help and providing emergency relief. This week we have distributed emergency supplies including food and water to over 200 families!

The villages we visited this week are both Hindu villages. No NGO or Government has visited them! CBN is the first to visit and they were so happy to see us!

The heroes of JCTV partner ministry

We are expanding our outreach to the south. We are heading toward the coastline and the indian border. Many Hindus and converted Christians are living there. We are reported that muslims only support the muslim communities. Where we are heading now are many hindus – called ‘parkies’. They are not supported because they are non-muslim. We have such a desire to reach out to them and show them the love of Jesus! We will keep you posted as we continue our outreach.

What on earth is The 700 Club?

Welcome to our blog! You might be thinking: what on earth is The 700 Club? Before referring you to our more officially written ‘about us’ page, we can tell you right here. Saves you clicking buttons!

The 700 Club is a daily TV show which airs on multiple channels in the UK, Europe and worldwide – in many different languages. The show contains stories about how people met with God and were changed through the love of Jesus. The hosts (Pat, Gordon, Terry and Kristi) offer Biblical help and advice.

The show also offers a variety of other elements such as news, music, entertainment and more. The show is produced in the USA and re-edited for European broadcasts.

The 700 Club is part of  The Christian Broadcasting Network (UK) and we are a registered UK charity (110 1659).

Our core charity objects are to share the love of Jesus through media (TV and web) and to reach out to people in need through humanitarian projects (disaster relief, food projects, fresh water relief, medical missions, etc)
